Data we collect
When you submit the contact form or email us, we collect your name, email address, optional engagement preference, approximate room count, and the content of your message. Server logs may record technical details such as IP address, browser type, and pages visited. If you accept analytics cookies, we may collect aggregated visit statistics as described on our cookies page.
Purposes
We use this information to respond to enquiries, prepare estimates, deliver engagements, invoice clients, improve the clarity of our site, and meet legal obligations under Vietnamese law.
Retention
Enquiry messages are kept up to twenty-four months unless they become part of an active client file. Client engagement records are retained for up to seven years for accounting and dispute purposes, or longer when law requires. Analytics data, when enabled, is retained in aggregate form for up to twenty-six months.
Sharing
We do not sell personal data. We may share information with hosting providers, email infrastructure, or professional advisers bound by confidentiality, and with authorities when required by law. Property operational data shared during an engagement is used only to deliver that engagement.
International transfers
Our primary processing occurs in Vietnam. If a processor stores data outside Vietnam, we seek contractual safeguards appropriate to the destination and the nature of the data.
Your rights
Subject to Vietnamese law, you may request access to personal data we hold about you, correction of inaccuracies, deletion where retention is no longer required, and restriction of certain processing. Contact hello@desktop-brookhub.click with “Privacy request” in the subject line. We respond within a reasonable period and may need to verify your identity.
Security
We apply administrative and technical measures appropriate to a small professional practice, including access limits on client files and secure transmission where available. No method of transmission is perfectly secure; please avoid sending passwords or payment card numbers through the contact form.
Children
This site addresses hospitality professionals. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
Updates
We may revise this policy. The current version is always published at this URL.
